PMI-CTT Event Program Numbers

How to Earn PDUs through PMI-CTT

 

For certified Project Management Professionals, Professional Development Units (PDUs) are measuring units used to quantify learning and professional activities. PMP credential holders must earn and report a minimum of 60 PDUs during each three-year cycle.

 

Typically 1 PDU is earned per hour spent in a planned and structured learning activity within the following categories:

      • Category 1: Formal academic education
      • Category 2: Professional activities and self-directed learning
      • Category 3: Educational programs offered by PMI Registered Education Providers (R.E.P.) or PMI components
      • Category 4: Educational programs offered by other providers
      • Category 5: Volunteer service to professional or community organizations

 

How to Earn PDU's through PMI-CTT

 

PDU’s can be earned by members of the PMI-CTT Chapter through the following methods:

    1. Speak at PMI-CTT Events (Category 2D)

      Speakers on a project management topic at PMI-CTT Chapter meetings earn 5 PDUs for each presentation.

    1. Participate in our Mentoring Program (Category 3)

      Up to 48 PDUs can be earned annually by participants in our PMI-CTT Mentoring program.

    • Attend the PMI-CTT Annual Symposium (Category 4)

      Up to 7 PDUs can be earned at our Annual Project Management Symposium.

       

    • Attend PMI-CTT Chapter Dinner Meetings (Category 4)

      1 PDU is earned for every dinner meeting presentation attended.

    • Attend PMI-CTT PM Connect Session (Category 4)

      1 PDU is earned for every PM Connect meeting presentation attended.

    • Serve on the Board of Directors of the PMI-CTT Chapter (Category 5)

      Serving twelve months as an officer or committee member earns up to 10 PDUs per calendar year.

    • Volunteering on a PMI-CTT committee (Category 5)

      Volunteering on a committee can earn up to 5 PDUs per calendar year.
